LITTLE STREAM BREAKFAST RIDE.
Please join us for an all-tar breakfast ride to the beautiful Little Stream Restaurant and Tea Garden in Constantia. This will be a ride around the Peninsula with a few stops along the way for photos. The route will include Chapmans Peak so please make sure to have the toll fee of R42 with you.
Meet at BMW DONFORD Cape Town: 08H00 for 08H30 departure. Ride briefing 08H20.
Get there early and have a cup of coffee the Revved Up Cafe, Mitch will open early to have coffee available and for those that like an early nibble there will be muffins and other bites to eat on sale.
The scenic route starts there, and will follow along the Peninsula, passing through Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek, Redhill Pass, additionally Scarborough, Misty Cliffs, Kommetjie, Noordhoek, afterwards Chapmans Peak and Hout Bay.
Arriving at the Little Stream restaurant in Constantia for a lovely farmhouse breakfast with a complimentary cup of coffee.
This is an approx. 2hr all-tar ride covering approximately 103 kms in distance.
Members, friends, and non-members welcome.

That sounds like a delightful adventure. Let’s dive into the details:
- Date: Saturday, 7th September 2024.
- Destination: The fabulous 4-star Arniston Spa Hotel.
- Inclusions: Dinner and breakfast—because no adventure is complete without good food! ️
- Restaurant Alert: For those who’ve been there before, you know the restaurant is nothing short of amazing.
- Routes: You’ve got options! Tar enthusiasts can follow Ian, while dirt lovers can join Geoff. ️

- Route Details: Keep an eye out—the routes will be shared with booked participants a few days before the ride. And remember, weather can be a bit unpredictable, so slight adjustments might happen on the day itself. ️
- Booking: Get in early! This event is super popular and tends to sell out faster than a hot muffin at breakfast. ☕

September Adventure Motorcycle Training Day 8th September 2024
WHAT WE COVER: BMWMCC OFF-ROAD TRAINING DAYS: LEVELS 1, 2 & PILLIONS
Our training team offers Level 1, 2 and pillion Off Road training is as per BMW curriculum.
We prefer and recommend riders to do Level 1 first and then move to Level 2. This way we know they have covered the basics. Also, riders with a new bike to should come and do a refresher of Level 1 or 2 depending on their riding abilities as each bike has its own bonding space and dynamics. Only 1 level can be completed on a day.
The training
– Theory on motorcycle riding gear, safety, rider position, bike set-up, dynamics of the BMW bike and tyre pressures for various terrains.
– Level 1: Explaining and adjusting the motorcycle, ABS de-activation, rider position, Off Road steering, cone riding, balancing, picking up the bike, leading the bike, slow riding, braking.
– Level 2: Bike set-up, tyre pressures, rider position, cone riding, body position, off-camber riding and steering, stopping and pulling away against an incline, uphill & downhill riding, sharp turns. High speed braking on gravel, going around obstacles. Bike recovery and if the group’s progress is quick enough and everybody seems competent then we will do a technical ride up a 4×4 track, gymkhana, sand and trail riding.
Remember our rules still apply, you only do what you feel comfortable with. Come and have fun on that GS and challenge yourself.
We also cater for other brands. Feel free to invite your friend/s on his Yamaha, KTM, Triumph, etc.
Cost will cover training fee, coffee and muffins and a lunch

Join us on an early morning breakfast ride over the over Du Toitskloof Pass, destination Four Cousins restaurant in Robertson.
Bring your friends, all makes of bikes are welcome on this all-tar ride.
Meet at Engen Pattekloof: 08H00 for 08H30 departure.

The Barn at Old MacDaddy breakfast ride 29 Sept 2024
Please join us for a breakfast ride with a difference to The Barn at Old MacDaddy. Our breakfast rides are generally tar only but this one has a 1.5km dirt section at the venue which will not be suitable for novice dirt riders. However if you feel like being challenged on a small section of dirt this will be the ride for you.

Departing at 08H30
We will depart from our normal starting point at Engen Plattekloof Village and then on to the N1. Turning at the Stellenbosch turnoff and then over Helshoogte Pass and Franschhoek pass, stopping for a few pics at Theewaterskloof Dam. Then skirting Grabouw, we’ll ride along Valley Road to the venue which is nestled in the forest area and well worth a visit.
Breakfast will be a choice of:-
Hot breakfast R120pp (Choice of scrambled, fried or Poached eggs, streaky bacon, mushroom, tomato, pork sausage or beef with homemade toast), coffee will be extra
Eggs benedict R130pp (Poached Eggs, crispy bacon, cherry tomato on country loaf with hollandaise sauce), coffee will be extra
All makes of bikes and non-members welcome – breakfast for your own account.

Ah, what a delightful invitation! It is the perfect way to wrap up the year—surrounded by good company, delicious food, and the scenic beauty of Kliplapa in Nuy Valley. Let’s dive into the details, shall we?
The Venue and Schedule
• Location: Kliplapa in Nuy Valley, Robertson.
• Dates: November 15th to 17th, 2024.
• Arrival and Departure:
o You’re welcome to arrive anytime from 16:00 on Friday afternoon.
o Departure on Sunday is at 10:00.
• Transport:
o No official ride to the venue, but you can join by motorbike or car.
o Bookings cover the entire weekend, whether you stay for one night or two.
Friday Night Fun
• What to Bring:
o Pack your own braaipack (meat for the grill) and a side dish.
o Fires will be going, and there’ll be ice in the freezer and braai-grids for your use.
• Saturday Evening:
o Get ready for a fantastic function!
o Dress up—think white and bright—for that summer vibe.
o There’ll be a spit braai, a DJ, and some short speeches.
o The club ensures enough wood for fires and plenty of ice to keep your drinks cool.
Accommodation and Costs
• Cost Spit-Braai:
o R275 per person for the spit braai (includes salads, bread, and veggies).
o Accommodation must be booked as a whole for the entire weekend.
• Room Bookings:
o Rooms can’t be booked on the website until you’ve confirmed your space with Jani
(via WhatsApp on 083 258 2839).
o Once confirmed, proceed with website booking and payment.
o Rooms around the small Lapa (except the KLOOF ROOMS) will be allocated first.
o KLOOF ROOMS will open up later.
What to Pack
Don’t forget these essentials:
• Swimming costumes and towels (because who can resist a dip?).
• Warm blanket (nights can get chilly, but bedding is provided in all rooms).
• Insect repellent (mountains come with their own little critters).
• Sunblock (because sun protection is cool).
• Your own drinks (stock up for the weekend; the closest shops are in Worcester or Robertson).
• Breakfast (coffee and rusks will be available, but feel free to bring your own).
• Braai food (meat and side dishes) for Friday evening.
• Feeling adventurous, pack your hiking shoes or mountain bike to explore the farm.
FAQs
• Is there a nearby shop? Nope, the closest ones are in Worcester or Robertson.
• Cell phone reception? Very limited, and only in certain parts of the farm.
• Glamorous? Not exactly—it’s just right for a good time.
• Is it 5-star? Well, if we have clear skies, you’ll see a lot more than five stars above!
And the best part? You can absolutely relax and do nothing all weekend if that’s your vibe.
Remember, the cutoff for bookings and payments is November 1st, 2024. So, mark your calendar and get ready for an unforgettable end-of-year celebration!
