ROOIBERG WINERY BREAKFAST RIDE. 3 SEPTEMBER 2023

Please join us for an all-tar ride to Rooiberg Winery for breakfast at the Red Chair Bistro.

Meet at Engen Pattekloof:

08H00 for 08H30 departure. Ride briefing 08H20.
The ride will take us through Franschhoek, over the pass to the Theewaterskloof Dam. We will take a quick break in Villiersdorp before we head towards Robertson and the venue. We can’t miss it as right outside sits the biggest red chair in Africa. A great photo opportunity.

This is an approx. 2hr 15m all-tar ride covering 165 Km.
Members, friends and non-members welcome.
All makes of bike’s welcome.

The story of Rooiberg Winery is that of a group of pioneering wine farms alongside three rivers surrounding the Rooiberg Mountain, which overlooks the cellar and its source vineyards. These are the Vink, Noree and Breede Rivers – geological features which give rise to extraordinary terroir and originally led to the establishment of these farms at a dependable source of water.
