Join us for a fun-filled morning at the state of the art BMW xDrive Park at Waterfall in Midrand for a combined skidpan and xDrive day. For the first time, the BMW Car Club Gauteng will be hosting an event at the exemplary BMW xDrive Park. Entries are limited to club members only and a maximum of 40 participants can be accomodated. The day will be split into the two events – 20 participants in their own vehicles will complete the waterless skidpan for six runs (3 mirrored) with the best 5 times to count. The other 20 participants will be accompanied by a BMW Driving Experience instructor to drive BMW’s new BMW X3s on the xDrive track to showcase the vehicle’s offroad capabilities. Half way through the event, the participants will swop so that everyone gets to compete in both the skidpan and the xDrive experience. Entry fee is R400 per person for members and R500 for non-members. Booking and payment secures your spot.
Spectators can attend free of charge but will not be able to join in the off road drive. Parking is not available at the skidpan, however there is adequate parking 2 minutes away in the main car park at the xDrive offices. There is also no cover at the skidpan, so bring your umbrellas or apply your sunscreen. You can bring your own refreshments for the day, and there will be refreshments for sale at xDrive Park (cards only no cash)
