Please note: This monthโs meeting will be held at BMW Donford Motorrad in Cape Town โ not at our usual Oakdale Sport and Conference Centre venue.
Weโre thrilled to welcome Anthony Raynard, a passionate and accomplished South African motocross racer, who will be sharing his inspiring journey in the world of motorsport โ and his exciting plans to take on the 2026 Dakar Rally!
About Anthony:
Born on 19 February 1990 in Johannesburg, Anthony began riding motocross at just ten years old on a 65cc bike. His career accelerated in 2008 when he was scouted to join a professional racing team.
Through sheer dedication, countless training hours, and a drive for perfection, Anthony achieved multiple podium finishes and placed 3rd overall in both the MX1 and MX2 classes in 2009.
Since then, heโs competed at the highest levels around the world and proudly represented South Africa at the Motocross of Nations. Despite the inevitable crashes and challenges that come with the sport, Anthonyโs determination and positive spirit have kept him pushing forward โ making him an inspiration both on and off the bike.
