d) 23rd May Breakfast ride Van Loveren … Geoff reported back on a very cold ride with 17 bikes and 20 people. It was a pleasant trip to Robertson and a warm up tot was soon procured. The return trip was via Franshoek with a stop-off for refreshments and listening to good music. Geoff left home at 7:30 am and got home at 5 pm.

e) BMWMCC … Transkei wild coast motorcycle tour 13th to 22nd August 2021 … Geoff described the upcoming tour as an easy beginner’s tour. Bookings are well under way with a very good response since the newsletter going out, there is only one place left for either a single person or a couple. There is a person coming from Kenya to ride with the group and should there be any cancellations, Geoff will keep us informed so that those on standby can be added.
f) BMWMCC … Overnight ride to Sutherland 31st July … Wouter spoke about the overnight ride to Sutherland he is leading a small group. Accommodation is restricted due to contractors busy with construction at the wind farm.
