Commemorative Poster Signing Ceremony – a great success
What a memorable milestone! Our Commemorative Poster Signing Ceremony drew more than 40 club members – both past and present – for a day filled with history, friendship, and celebration.
Our current Chairman, Marius Bezuidenhout, warmly welcomed everyone and shared a brief overview of our membership growth since the club’s inception. We were especially honoured to have five of our previous Chairmen in attendance, creating a wonderful atmosphere of reconnection and shared pride.
Because no birthday is complete without cake, members were treated to delicious blue-and-white swirl cupcakes. The day also marked the launch of our limited-edition 30-year badge, a keepsake to treasure for years to come. More will be available at our next club night.
A highlight of the event was the unveiling of our commemorative poster. One of our founding Chairmen, Adriaan Scheepers, assisted Marius in the unveiling and proudly became the very first to sign. He was followed by Richard Hussey, Dani Du Preez, Marnus Pieters, and Luzane Bronkhorst, adding their names to this piece of our history.
Moments like these remind us how important it is to honour our past and celebrate where we’ve come from. We sincerely hope that our former Chairmen and all past members, will continue to feel welcome and join us at future club nights and events.
